Capricious Happiness
Capricious happiness never politely awaits invitation. She may visit you whenever she wants without even letting you know about it. She doesn't care if you are away at the moment or are busy with other things – if you haven't managed to accept her Capricious Majesty – you have lost your lucky chance to be happy! Capricious Happiness never knocks on your door, she either breaks the door open or has already stolen the keys from your pocket (when passing you by earlier before) and after a few successful turns, enters your flat and starts making itself at home without even asking any permissions.
She insolently uses your personal things, even the ones which you would never let anyone touch. Anyone but your Cheeky Happiness that is, for you're eagerly looking forward to your mutually beneficial cooperation! But cooperation with Capricious Happiness is scarcely serious. Her Naughty Majesty plays with you while having you wrapped around her little finger. Then she seems to become all serious towards you, she suddenly starts showing her entirely mature attitude to cooperating with you. However, this seriousness never lasts long and very soon you find out that your naughty untrustworthy friend was just making fun of you.
Capricious Happiness perfectly realizes its importance in your eyes, and will hardly ever waste her time on being modest. Her unique irreplaceable self has come to visit you, and it means that you have to be thankful for the visit to the rest of your life. If Her Majesty is hungry – you should feed her with good food, if she is sleepy – you should offer your best bedroom for her best most comfortable rest, if she is bored – you should entertain your Capricious Happiness as best as you can – sing songs for her, dance wild dances in front of her throne, tell her funny stories, hold interesting conversations – all for one purpose – in order for your Capricious Happiness to stay at your hospitable hose for long (for good would be best option for you but taking into consideration very changeable character of your Happiness, it's hardly ever possible).
In the real life – non-metaphorically speaking that is – your Capricious Joy suggests situations when you always have to pay considerably high price for her visit. For instance, she may bring you great love but without being serious enough to choose the right time and place for this present. As a result – you have to sacrifice something for someone or – what is more painful – someone for another someone...
Or if your Capricious Happiness brings you money, she may take away your peace of mind as a reward for your material well-being. What would you choose – being rich and restless or enjoying your peaceful but simple happiness? A choice that requires some hard thinking, don't you agree?
You may keep your Capricious Happiness entertained and satisfied for some time and she will stay with you giving you a piece of herself in return (you wanna peace of me, just like in the well known song).
But you should keep in mind that your happiness is very selfish and will never share anything with you without wanting to collect the 'payoff' from all possible spheres of your personality and life. If you are ready to exchange your piece of mind for things your capricious egocentric Happiness may offer you – then go for it! But mind that the price you will have to pay may be more than a little bit too high.
